As long as your kids are aged 5 or above you can bring them along to participate in all the fun!  By the same token however,  don't make the mistake of thinking this is a just a kiddie trip.  

The trip is primarily designed for adults as a first time, or simply more laid back style, kayak snorkel combination adventure. The whole family is able to come as we have kayaks that can hold 1, 2 or even 3 people if the 3rd person is a child seated between adults.

On the Discovery we will see tons of turtles, beautiful tropical fish in a stunning array of colors, perhaps some dolphins and in the Winter we're also joined by the Humpback Whales down from Alaska.  

All of the underwater life is framed by beautiful, calm and warm indigo waters that surround the Hawaiian Islands, and are particularly lovely in the Olowalu and Makena regions where the Discovery tours takes place.

We take you from total novice, walk you through all the things you'll need to know about snorkeling and kayaking, and get you completely prepared and educated on the safe and environmentaly friendly way to enjoy our pristine, wild, ocean environment.

The 7:00am check-in time helps us avoid most crowds and make it a relaxing morning for you.

Lets have an easy going, fun time time! 

Park your car, walk over to our guides, get geared up and join us for a comprehensive safety and instructional briefing that will bring even a total ocean novice completely up to speed on what they need to know to have a great day. 

Three great hours and 2 fun snorkel stops.

Over the course of the 3 hours on Discovery, we'll be padding several miles or roughly 1 hour of cumulative paddling that is broken up into small chunks.  

In terms of snorkeling,

we'll hit two fantastic locations.  Both feature everything from underwater sea caves and tons of sea turtles, all the way to whales, dolphins and of course an amazing variety of colorful, friendly and fun tropical fish all within arms reach.

Total snorkeling time is about 1 hour if you combine the 2 locations.  We don't kick you out of the water though.  Our snorkeling time is basically up to you guys.

Finally, only those who want to get in the water do so.  There's no requirement to snorkel and many of our guests love to just relax on the surface and take in the sunshine.

It's all up to you!

A little help?

All through the trip the guide will be assisting the group as much as possible.

From hooking all the kayaks together at snorkeling stops, to assisting guests with their masks and fins, it's first class service all the way through.

The most fun will be had if you stay close to our guides in the water, as they'll be pointing out unique marine life, snapping underwater digital photos, and leading the way to the best regions along each reef.

At the end of the Discovery tour, enjoy a wonderful complimentary small oceanside picnic style lunch.  Enjoy!

We always recommend that "big eaters" pack some additional rations if they are so inclined.  Additionally, all guests should bring a bottle of water for themselves, as hydration is a critical element to a fun day here on Maui.
