Coming from South Maui
Please allow 60-70 minutes
- Drive North on Highway 31 to the intersection with Highway 30.
- Take a left onto Highway 30 and proceed North.
- Keep going past Lahaina and Kaanapali up to Kapalua.
- Once in Kapalua, you will come across OFFICE ROAD, which leads into the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
- Go BEYOND Office Road and take your 2nd left off the highway.
- You will now be pulling into D.T. Fleming Beach Park.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue & yellow kayaks.
- Park off to the left in the back lot.
Coming from West Maui
Please allow 20 minutes
- Proceed up Highway 30, about 15 minutes beyond Kaanapali.
- Once in Kapalua, you will come across OFFICE ROAD, which leads into the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
- Go BEYOND Office Road and take your 2nd left off the highway.
- You will now be pulling into D.T. Fleming Beach Park.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue & yellow kayaks.
- Park off to the left in the back lot.
Driving to Olowalu:

Coming from South Maui
Please allow 40 minutes
- Head North on Highway 31 to the junction with Highway 30, near Ma'alaea Harbor.
- Go left towards Lahaina at the stoplight intersection.
- Pay close attention to the Mile Marker signs.
- Pull off on the left side (ocean side) around Mile Marker 14.7.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue & yellow kayaks.
- Park anywhere.
Coming from West Maui
Please allow 20 minutes
- Proceed South down Highway 30, watching the Mile Marker signs en route.
- Go just past Mile Marker 15.
- Pull off on the right side (ocean side) around Mile Marker 14.7
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue & yellow kayaks.
- Park anywhere.
Driving to Papalaua Beach Park:

Coming from South Maui
Please allow 30 minutes
- Head North on Highway 31 to the junction with Highway 30, near Ma'alaea Harbor.
- Go left towards Lahaina at the stoplight intersection.
- Pay close attention to the Mile Marker signs.
- Meet us on the side of the road JUST after the tunnel (Maui's only tunnel) slightly after Mile Marker 11.
- Pull off the road and park on the left side (oceanside) of the road.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue & yellow kayaks.
Coming from West Maui
Please allow 25 minutes
- Proceed down Highway 30 while paying close attention to the Mile Markers.
- You'll go about 20 minutes beyond Lahaina.
- Proceed beyond Mile Marker 11 and pay attention to the right side (oceanside) of the road.
- Meet us on the side of the road JUST before the tunnel (Maui's only tunnel).
- Pull off the road and park anywhere.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue & yellow kayaks.
Driving to Makena Landing:

Coming from South Maui
Please allow 20 minutes
- Proceed south on either Highway 31 (inland) or South Kihei Road (oceanside).
- You'll run into the stoplight in Wailea that is in front of the "Shops at Wailea."
- Go South on Wailea Alanui Road.
- Proceed 2.5 miles south and look for a blue sign that says "Makena Landing".
- Turn right at the blue sign that says Makena Landing.
- Proceed to the bottom of the hill and park anywhere.
- Look for our guides, our vehicle that says "Maui Eco Tours", and blue & yellow kayaks.
Coming from West Maui
Please allow 60 minutes
- Proceed down Highway 30 to the interection with North Kihei Road (Highway 31).
- Proceed South to the end of Highway 31, which terminates at a stoplight in Wailea.
- Go left at the stoplight onto Wailea Alanui Road.
- Proceed 2.5 miles south and look for a blue sign that says "Makena Landing".
- Turn right at the blue sign that says Makena Landing.
- Proceed to the bottom of the hill and park anywhere.
- Look for our guides, our vehicle that says "Maui Eco Tours", and blue & yellow kayaks.
